Interior Design Puts LTL's MSK Lobby Wall in the Centerfold

The September 2013 issue of Interior Design Magazine is out and features the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Lobby Wall in the Centerfold.  Thanks to Marc Kristal for the in depth text and to Veyko for their work in fabricating and installing the piece, now on view at the 68th street lobby of the Mortimer B. Zuckerman Research Center at Memorial Sloan-Kettering.

LTL Architects chosen to participate in the ParkingPLUS Design Challenge

The Long Island Index has selected LTL Architects as one of four firms to rethink the design of parking facilities in downtown areas of Long Island.

The four winning design teams will prepare designs that will be unveiled by the Long Island Index in January 2014. The firms, their office locations, and the communities with which they will be paired, are as follows:

  • dub studios (New York City and Los Angeles) will work with Patchogue;
  • LTL Architects (New York City) will work with Westbury;
  • Roger Sherman Architecture and Urban Design (Los Angeles) will work with Ronkonkoma;
  • Utile, Inc. (Boston) will work with Rockville Centre.

LTL Architects recognized at the 31st Annual Design Commission Awards

LTL Architects, in collaboration with McLaren Engineering Group, Garrison Architects, Sage and Coombe Architects, Mathews Nielsen Landscape Architects, and Pentagram, received special recognition from the Public Design Commission of the City of New York on phase one of the beach access restoration. A Project of the Department of Parks & Recreation and the Department of Design and Construction, the restoration includes Brighton Beach and Cony Island Beach, Brooklyn; Rockaway Beach, Queens; Midland Beach, Cedar Grove Beach, and Wolfe's Pond Park Beach, Staten Island.
